There’s a lot going on with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air these days. The beloved ‘90s sitcom is getting a reboot, thanks to the streaming service Peaco*ck, where it will be reimagined as a drama called Bel-Air. The original series cast is reuniting for an HBO Max special, airing in November 2020. Will, Carlton, Hilary, Ashley, Geoffrey, Jazz, both Aunt Vivs and some special guests will come together for a 30th anniversary special. But before fans can stream all that, it’s time to get your nostalgia on and take a look at Will Smith and the rest of the cast in 1990 when the show began—then see where they are now.

Smith played Will, a spunky teen from West Philadelphia, who was sent to live with his family in Bel-Air after getting into a fight with guys who were up to no good. “It was my very first role, and I was very, very focused on being successful, so I learned the whole script and everyone else’s lines," Smith explained about starring on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. "If you watch the first four or five episodes, you can see I’m mouthing other people’s lines. It’s terrible and I can’t bear to watch it.”
