I don't understand all the negative reviews. This professor was great! I'm not the best at math and he taught very well. He had office hours, he was open to questions, and a very lenient grader. There are 3 tests and they were graded very fairly. There is ALEKS but he drops your lowest grade. Overall I'd say take this prof, you won't regret it.

No curve in this class even though a majority of quiz/exam averages was 65 or below. No lecture videos. All homework and quizzes were completed on ALEKS, and exams were not open note like some previous reviews said. Considering I did above average on both exams and still ended with a C, most of the class must've had a C or lower too.

I really got tricked by how many good ratings he had. The good ratings are probably from his in person students since he only thinks he is a professor in person. No kidding if you take online you will get no support from your so called professor. Oops, sorry, he's an "instructor" in an online setting. What am I paying for a coach for a soccer team?

I enrolled in MTH 154 as a requirement and was surprised by Professor Radio teaching style. His clear guidelines made the learning experience seamless. Moreover, this professor is all about practical skills and real-world examples. Also, covers Excel. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a strong teacher, especially for challenging classes.

Doesn't accept late work. This makes people mad so they give bad reviews. Teaches fast, BUT if you interrupt, WILL stop for questions. Very available in office or Zoom weekly for help. Hard tests, open notes. I got A's on homework (worth 20%), quizzes (10%), projects (worth 30%), B and C on big tests (only worth 40% of grade!). Overall A- in class.

Weekly homework assignments, 2 major projects & several exams. He does offer a lot of extra opportunities to raise your grade, very clear on what he expects and what will be on exams. Only con was that he didn't really explain the subject well, he flew through his slides and didn't give time for questions. Over all very easy course to pass.

i really liked him as a teacher, he is really understanding and will help you if you stay after. So if you struggle in math take this class. The only thing is that the exams are challenging and are nothing like the practice ones. However they are open note.

Don't walk, RUN to this professor. I love this guy!!! His tests were open note and you could use a graphing calculator. I do not understand how anyone could not pass with an A. Everything is on ALEKS and you just had to submit classwork on days you have class. He is super understanding and always gives you partial credit for questions you miss.

I took Matt's 10-week MTH 167. We used ALEKS for HW, classwork, and tests. Open-note tests. He had to rush through some units because of time but did his best at explaining each concept. I nearly failed this same class in high school and got an A because of Matt. Required to turn in your work after tests, which usually gets you partial credit!

Very hard to keep up. He would teach 2-3 chapters in one class. the average from the first midterm was 60 and it stayed like that for the rest of the midterms which says a lot about him. I made the mistake to take his rates into consideration but it was all a lie.

If youre not that good at math make sure you go to his lectures!! Hes a good professor, just pay attention. He doesnt require attendance at all but his lectures are helpful. He gives out a study guide every exam & he gives out a couple quizzes. We used ALEKS for homework which is very helpful in catching up and more practice. Hes great!

Duo to me note doing good in high school, i had to take MDE with MTH. The class was easy we had a weekly Alex, which was not that much.We had 3 exams and 1 final. Open note and practice exam are exactly like the exam. my exam score were 48,75,88. get a good score on final and he replaces it with the lowest exam. NO BOOK NEEDED.Trust me EASY CLASS
